The Historic Faubourg Tremé Association (HFTA) has established a grant program from proceeds of the annual Tremé Fall Festival. The purpose of the grant program is to aid organizations based within the traditional Tremé neighborhood that promote and preserve the neighborhood’s culture, history, and architecture. Proceeds, as available, from the festival are given to neighborhood cultural organizations for events and programs that support the character of the neighborhood.


Grant award amounts: between $500 and $2000.

Grant application deadline: postmarked by September 25, 2018 and sent to P.O. Box, 50181, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70150-0181.

Questions? HFTA will be hosting a grant workshop for anyone who would like more information on the grant program. Attendance is not required to apply. Please come Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm to the Back Courtyard of The George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center, 1225 N. Rampart Street, entrance on Rampart Street or in the neighborhood. Courtyard is the back of the building. Parking available onsite.
